Healthy Pets Contest

Win FREE Spay/Neuter and Vaccines for your pet!

Sponsored by

The Healthy Pets Contest is a joint collaboration between the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley’s Humane Education for Youth (HEY!) program and PetSafe, a Radio Systems Corporation. This initiative is to provide resources for families to afford the care necessary when adding a pet to the family. We believe that an animal companion is a vital part of the family. During this contest period, Knox County students in grades K-12 can compete for free spay or neuter and a round of yearly vaccines for their furry family member.

RULES: Entries will be evaluated by HSTV staff every 6 weeks. 10 winners will be selected per winning period. Winners will be notified via telephone and email and presented a voucher. Voucher must be presented to the HSTV Spay/Neuter Clinic for redemption and can not be redeemed for cash.

Why spay and neuter? Getting your pet spayed or neutered reduces the number of homeless animals, unwanted behavior in your pet, improves your pet’s overall health and well-being. The decision to spay or neuter a pet will be one of the most important decisions you make for your pet’s health and happiness.

Why vaccinate? To protect your pet from contagious diseases, keep his essential vaccinations up-to-date. This is important even if your pet is kept mostly indoors. The rabies vaccine is required by law in the state of Tennessee.
