PET RELINQUISHMENT

The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley accepts pets for adoption from owners who are no longer able to care for them.

Pets are accepted by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call 865-573-9675 Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are available only between the hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Persons relinquishing a pet to the Humane Society will be asked to make a donation to help defray the cost of medical care and housing for the pet.
Persons relinquishing a pet should bring any veterinary records and medication, including canine heartworm preventative, in with the pet.
